How to Salt the Rim of a Cocktail Glass

It's time to add some flair to your cocktail game with a sugary or salty rim on your glass! Just follow these simple steps.

Method

  1. Find a small shallow dish or plate and fill it with sugar or salt (whichever you prefer).

  2. Cut a wedge of lemon or lime and use it to moisten the rim of the coupe glass. Trust us, this is an important step. You don't want the sugar or salt to just fall off the glass.

  3. Hold the glass upside down and gently press the rim into the sugar or salt, rotating it to coat it evenly. Don't worry if it's not perfect, it'll just add to the charm.

  4. Tap the glass gently to remove any excess sugar or salt, and set it aside until you're ready to use it.

Good luck, and bottom’s up!
